Mixing Business with Pleasure

It has been said to all of us at least once in our lifetime; never mix business with pleasure. However, we all now that when somebody says not to do something, we tend to want to find out why we can't. Well, I decided to find out why business and pleasure does not mix. During the summer, I worked at Phillips Seafood Restaurant. If you are not aware, the restaurant industry is all about sex, drugs, and money. Just like the streets. It is not unusual for it to be this way because the majority of restaurant workers have had a troublesome past; being in and out of court and prison for numerous offenses. While working at Phillips, my supervisor developed a crush on me. I usually don't get involved with people that I work with because it is bad business. However, she is cute and I figured that if I played my cards right nothing bad will happen. Unfortunately I was wrong. This woman is three years older than I, but acts like she is in high school. I assumed that older woman knew what they wanted and didn't blab their pesonal business.
Before I go any further with my story, let me tell everyone that I told this woman before we started to see each other that, I have a girlfriend and we been together for going on six years. She did not care about that situatin because she felt all she wanted from me was a friend who she could have sex with. Nothing serious, just a sex buddy. After a few encounters, she starts to get her emotions involved and develops deep feelings for me. Thats cool but I knew where this was going, so I decided to slow down with her and just remain friends without the benefits. After about two weeks of us slowing down, she found out that I acquired a new friend. My new friend was somebody she knew of but she didn't know her personally. Things started going downhill from their. Somehow, both the girls shared phone conversations threathening each other. My supervisor decides to take out frustration on me by giving me a hard time at work. Now I must admit, it is kind of cool having woman fight over you. But at the same time, it was also stupid because both these woman know that I have a girlfriend, and I will never be with them. Whats wrong with this picture?! Two woman fighting over a guy so they can be his side joint, his jump-off, etc. I never heard of that before.
Eventually the problem faded and things settled back to the way it used to be. There was plenty more drama between me and this woman. As stated previously, the restaurant industry is all about sex, drugs, and money. I just explained my situation with the sexual aspect of it. However, I can not explain the drugs and money part because that would be like crucifying myself.
